I work closely with clients in both public and private sectors to develop, design, and deliver public speeches, workshops, and other public talks. Further support includes creation and use of presentation tools, keys for working with media and interpreters, and coaching/mentoring for educators and other professionals.
Communications training at Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA): As part of a professional development series, created and deliver presentation skills workshop, coaching students for thesis proposals, and academic/professional presentations so students are well-versed in presenting creative ideas and work.
Management training at ywca clark county: Create and deliver quarterly training workshops for core management team. Topics span building effective communication practices and leadership skills, creating high performance teams, dealing with difficult people and situations professionally.
Communications training at Fred Meyer Jewelers/Littman Jewelers: Created and delivered corporate communications training program to top management team including brand messages, operating principles, business communications guide, activities, and resources. Follow-up and evaluation tools and measures were included.
Video solutions at Banfield, the Pet Hospital: Wrote Cycle of Service training video script for national veterinary training program.
eLearning programs at RadioShack: Created Parts and Power store associate online training program as part of company certification curriculum. Training program won Award of Excellence from Society for Technical Communication, 2007.
eLearning programs at Cascade: Adapted Premier Performance Operator Training video/Flash script for carton clamp product; created Carton clamp eLearning course.
Video training program at Nike: Created Managing for Gold (M4G) video and activities for management training four-day summit.
Online courses at California State University Monterey Bay: Created and delivered curricula for online writing/critical thinking skills courses to meet university learning outcomes and requirements.
